Prayer Shawl Ministry

There is a friendly group of Prayer Shawl Ministry members who invite all knitters, crocheters, and those wanting to learn, to join them the first Wednesday of every month to create prayer shawls for those in need of comfort or celebrating a baby's birth. Some produce shawls at home and bring them to the group, where each shawl is blessed before being sent on its way to someone within or beyond our congregation. Amazing colours and patterns emerge as dedicated fingers support this ministry.
